Hello moms,
I just put a recipe for oatmeal baths on the "General" message board. Much cheaper than buying it.

Another hint from someone who has had ps for 56 years; When applying topicals, whether otc or prescribed, apply the absolute shearest possible coating. Ps for some reason responds better to less, rather than more. After applying the medication, then you can slather with lotion.

I hope this helps someone.

Oatmeal baths are GREAT!!!
My mom used to give them to me when I was younger and it would help me out a lot with my itching.

Dear Peggy, You posted that you posted the recipe for Oatmeal baths
in the General Messages. I looked but I don't find it listed.
Would you either re-post it there or Post it here. I sure would appreciate it as I'm itchy as the dickens
& would like to try it. I thank you a lot!!!

Hello! Marielle here, mom of a 6 year old p child. I found the oatmeal bath posting by doing a search in the forum. The mixture that Peggy has works great. I used to do the Aveeno oatmeal baths but this one is better and not as expensive. I hope this helps.

Hello Marielle,
Sorry to hear :( that you have a 6 yr. old child with P. I feel for you & your child. It's a bummer when a child has to suffer with P. Thanks for informing me as to where I could locate the Oatmeal Bath recipe. First time I used the "search", & finally got the hang of I think. :) I'll give it a try once I go to the Health store. I appreciate you replying to my Post Marielle.
