Do you find that you get viruses more frequently, or worse since having p than before?
I've had 3 of the exact same kind of cold-flu things in the last 9 months. Each time it threw me in bed for at least a week and then lingers for another 2 weeks. This has never happened to me before.
An aside: my p lightens up and my PA symptoms disappear when I get one of these bugs.

I, myself don't get sick very often at all, but when I do it does linger for a while longer than other people with the same thing. I can usually expect to get a cold or every three years like clock-work. I'm fairly healthy in between times, but after I get a cold or flu I sometimes get another one following 2 weeks after the first. The second one is never as severe, but seems to last longer.
As for my P, it sometimes gets a little worse when I'm sick. Probably because I take meds that knock me out and I don't stick to applying my P meds on a regular basis.

I have allergies that get worse during certain times of the year (my standard joke is that I'm allergic to September, for example), so I can never tell if I have a cold, a mild case of the flu or if my allergies are just acting up. (I've been going for allergy shots since June 13, 2000.) When it does turn out to be something, other than an allergy attack, it tends to knock out for a couple of days and I feel run down for a couple of weeks afterward. I've had plaque psoriasis, since 1964, when I was 7 and this is how my body has always reacted to colds, etc.
