Jessie update if anyone is interested

JESSICA IS DONE WITH LIGHT SESSIONS.
She is at about 5% and going to enjoy the sun. She is so happy....She could not wait to tell her teacher that she does not have to be yanked out of school 3 times a week. What a trooper. When we received our Psoriasis Advance, she read about the poster contest, jumped up and went and got her markers and crayons and has made two posters so far. She wants to tell the world that she has P. She has a few of last years posters hanging in her room and took a couple to school. Well I better get back to work. Just thought I would let everyone know about Jessie. Also Thank You everyone for your support through all this and for future times of strength.

Great news, Marielle! She's come a long way in a few short months. I'm so happy for her. :) My mom saw the derm today (finally!). The initial diagnosis is seborrheic dermatitis (sp?) and not p. :confused: He gave her some prescriptions and wants to see her again in a month. I haven't had a chance to do any research on it yet. It's been one of those days! I'll talk to you soon.

Thanks for the update on your mom. I told my husband last night, today is the day that Mike's mom gets to see the derm. I will try and do some research also, when I get some time. My job got really busy. I went from 40 hours to 60. Yikes!

Alright! I bet you are so happy she is done with the light sessions. Ian has a recheck on Tuesday. Think I am going to see about an Rx strength moisturizer. He is always so peely and I can't find something over the count that will work for more than a few days or a week.

Glad to hear from you. Jessie gets a little dry but we fix that with the Aveeno Oatmeal baths. Right now she is getting a few more spots but I think that is because it has been raining and not sunny for the past few days. She has it really bad on her eyelids. Plus her eyes are all swelled from her sinuses. Yikes!! Well I better get back to work. I hope Ian gets better soon.
