I got the book last november and just decided I've had it and was going to start this diet. I posted on the board I'd give my results, and in the last 3 days I've seen MAJOR change.
So far I have NO elevated lesions, and it's just really red. No scales, no elevation. My skin feels smooth for the first time in a long time! This really has me excited, and I'm starting to think there might be something to this diet talk. I'll give a 1 month update once I get there.

Sean....Hi and welcome....if you want to really read some cures from Dr.Paganos book go th this psoriasis site and read everything by TOMT he has cured himself through Paganos and other means....he really knows his stuff and tells it like it is!!!
http://curezone.com/forums/f.asp?f=8&p=2
the site isn't as active as this one but they sure do have some interesting "cures" some I might try and some I won't......I'm using Dr. Paganos book also...haven't been able to find anyone else on here that is.....it is a little hard at first...giving up pizza but mostly spaghetti.............but I too have seen good results
flat lesions and no scales on the majority ...scalp is something I have to keep one step ahead of...but there's progress there too.
let us know how you do and what you think of THE CURE ZONE.
Tomt mentions that allergies seems to be prevalent in most cases of P.........................we should take a poll!!!!

The book is odd, and I'd fall into that desperate to try anything phase, but who wouldnt be? I mean we are all trying to get drugs that lower our immune system and MIGHT cause problems later in life. Whats the harm in trying this goofs diet? If you read the book most of what he says makes good sense. My P has been a pain in the you know where for the last 6 months. Once I thought about the foods we are supposed to stay away from, and the foods we should eat, it relates to me. I eat lots of fast food, burgers, white bread. I give up a lot by being on the diet, and yes at times it's restrictive, but I personally would rather eat salads and drink water and juice for the rest of my life than to have P.
My docs have had 15 years to try to figure out something, and in 2 weeks a NATURAL cure has really made a difference. I recommend the diet after 2 weeks, but like I said I'll keep people posted!

Hi Gunny,
I am still reading the site you posted...I find the enema thing hard to believe tho!!! And the guy who said he had what looked like gallstones in his stool well I am not sure it that is even possible!!

hi debber
I have looked the site over pretty good as well. I found it to be very interesting and some of it makes sense to me. I'm not one for gimmicks but will go out on a linb and try something if it appeals to me. I believe that if you have confidence in anything then mentally you feel the necessary hope that in itself helps your affliction. Do you agree?
I'm so happy for you that the Pagano diet is working! I've read the book and think that it makes a lot of sense. quick question: I get overwhelmed when I think about what I have to eat that's okay for the Pagano diet. can you please give me examples of what you eat for each meal?
thanks,
Peal

hi............ I too was overwhelmed by the diet of what to eat and what to avoid for keeping a ph balance....especially on combining....but at the back of the book he outlines in detail: BREAKFAST...LUNCH...DINNER plus snacks...and a few pages on he talks about what foods not to combine....also a page and a half of REMINDERS. ( But then I bought his cookbook and it gives all kinds of recipes and menus)........interesting book and I don't find him the least bit kooky....I would rather try this than some of the Meds that Dr. prescribe <shiver> I recently read a quote from Hans Reusch
"A HEALTHY POPULATION MEANS A DEAD PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY." I haven't had any prescriptions for this bane of a disease and don't intend to as long as I can keep it under control with natural means....:D Sally
