Noni juice heard about it

:p A friend introduced me to a drink named Noni juice it appears to be good I took it a few times and my skin jus started clearing up does any body have any info on it I mean safety wise, i found the plant and I'm trying to grow it. Its cheaper to grow it than buy it costs about $80.00 a bottle this side, its also supposed to be good for a lot of other ailments.

I have a friend that swears that stuff is the heal all for EVERYTHING. Whenever she starts to feel sick she whips out her Noni juice. I haven't ever tried it myself. I am sure it can't hurt you though. I believe it is all natural stuff, so it shouldn't cause you any troubles. It's just pretty pricey, so you had better make sure it is the factor that is helping your P before you dump too much cash into it. :D -Taryn-

My friend actually gave me some samples of the Noni body wash and lotion today. We'll see how they work. I guess that the Noni fruit is supposed to naturally boost your immune system and that is why it supposedly helps out with Psoriasis and other immune system related ailments. Her dad gets it for her at half price, so she says if I want some she'll get me it at the discounted price. I'll see how the lotion works and if I notice an improvement maybe I'll try it too. -Taryn-

i've heard of it too! My friend's boyfriend sells it. He's been to meetings and he was telling me all the stories people were telling about what it did for them. He swears by it! But i haven't heard anything about it helping psoriasis, just that it helps with ALOT of problems! My friend said her bf only sells it for $45 though. I might try it i don't know!

Found a farmer on Ebay sells at 7.50 a quart (32oz) and he also sells by case or gallon. If this stuff really works I would like to buy some to try. anyone know how much are you suppose to drink it? and how often do you drink it?

I'm not into trying the natural or homeopathic approach to treat my p, except to help my skin feel a little better ie, oatmeal soaks and moisturizers. Having said that......the gripe that the FDA has with this Noni Juice is that it makes claims that are not scientifically proven. They are allowed to sell the product as a dietary suppliment, but they cannot make any claim of helping, curing, or reducing the affects of any condition without doing a scientific study and submitting it to the FDA for approval. Anytime a particular condition is mentioned on one of these sites it becomes classified as a new drug....because the claim now is that it helps ease the symptoms or cures a condition. My belief is that if these natural therapies really worked, they would do the scientific studies and submit the findings to the FDA for drug approval. Since they don't, I can't buy into the possability that they work consistently or in some cases at all.

I have already ordered some of these Noni Juice over the internet. Now the more I read about it and more I think it's going to be a total waste of my money ( I hope at least it will be a good tasting juice so it won't be a total lost) Anyone else have tried this and have any info to share????

I tried Noni about four years ago, and it did absolutely nothing for me. The only reason I tried it is 'cause my uncle was selling the stuff and he swore by it, too. As for the taste, either you'll like it or you won't; I found it tolerable.

If it works for you, drink up! Forty bucks a bottle is definitely worth keeping the p away! :) ;) :D

I'm sure it has some nutritional value. My personal opinion is that any reduction of p from noni juice can be racked up as placebo effect.

The problem is whenever one of these companies mentions their product cure, relieves, or reduces symptomes in regard to any condition, it must scientifically prove that statement because it is now a drug (this is an FDA rule). They can, however, make a general statement such as "it's good for the skin" and sell the product with no need to prove it medical value. My problem with this is........if the suppliment works, and they have evidence that it works, then why not do a double blind clinical trial to show the FDA your amazing finds. The result, if true, would be that the drug could be classified as a new drug and be more marketable and more valuable. When the companies don't take the extra step to show it woks it tell me that they no it's nothing more than a nutritional suppliment. The FDA can say something is safe for human consumption, but what does that say??? Hamburgers are safe for human consumption (most at least), but they do nothing for my p.
