Depend on the insurance. You can call your insurance provider and ask, they may not have ruled on Amevive yet, but biogen has a program to do the hagling with the insurance companies to you covered. Enbrel you can probably call your insurance directly and ask. Some insurance companies want proof that other (cheaper) methods of treatment have been tried before approving you for these drugs.

Note from the Psoriasis Foundation Member Services Coordinator:
Chaim is exactly right. It truly does depend on your insurance company. However, if you are denied coverage for the new biologic treatments, don't give up!
We're working with the pharmaceutical and insurance industries to try and improve access to safe and effective new therapies, including biologics like Amevive and Enbrel. There was also an amendment attached to the big Medicare bill that is currently being negotiated between the US House and Senate that contains language that directs Medicare to cover self-injected biologics. This could potentially increase convenient access to some powerful new therapies.
Feel free to contact our Foundation's Advocacy Coordinator, Joey Shearer, for additional help and information. He can be reached at 800.723.9166, ext. 407, or jshearer@psoriasis.org.
We will do what we can to help you get coverage!
Sincerely,
