Being new to this site, I am curious about some of the approaches to psoriasis. I am looking for a cure hollistically, someone who will help attack the problems internally, thus curing my skin. If anyone knows of a good doctor/dermatologist in Texas (I live in Austin, but am willing to go anywhere in the state), please let me know.

Hello,
Welcome to the Board. You've come to the right place. A lot of very nice and helpful people post here.
Here's a link to a thread that discussed alternative treatments for psoriasis. It's a fascinating discussion and it gave me a lot of think about: http://www.psoriasis.org/forum/showthread.php?threadid=3404&highlight=Peggy
Hope this helps. Welcome again and please don't be a stranger.

I think ( and this is just my opinion so don't shoot me please!) that maybe hollistic and scientific treatments should go together. I have heard a lot of cancer patients do this.
Of course both the Dr. and the hollistic/alternative healer should be aware of all the treatments, for caution in drug interactions and stuff like that.
Keep on fighting the good fight,
