I had to bypass the way my Dr was going to get me enbrel (reimbursement concierge program) It would have taken too long ( I had less then 2 days for the lowest cost) since as of today since my co payment went from $6 per prescription(for 2 months supply) to 20% of the cost (only injectable drugs are 20% copay). getting my insurance to cover enbrel was never an issue, except needing to get a prior authorization from filled out. I was able to get it approved in 1 hour from the time I finally got the Dr to fax it direct to the insurance trust place.
Now my worry is after my 2 months of enbrel runs out how am I going to come up with the 20% co pay. I am about to call the # I found at needymeds.com to see if I qualify for any help (I doubt I will). my husband has only been back to work for a month. He had been on strike (over health care no less) for 5 months prior. so finances are a big issue for us. everything related to our health care has gone up.
Is their a source that is cheaper since it is almost $3000 for 2 months at my local pharmacy.
ok enough rambling lol
