I am so glad that the number of people going to the NPF's 1st annual Washington Day is growing. It is so important and a direction I am so glad the NPF is moving too. What is so important to note is that this new venture does not take away from any of the other important services and support that NPF provides. We have all heard the old proverb, "God helps those who help themselves", it is time we help ourselves!

I would hope that a whole new politcial adgenda will evolve after NPF's Washington Day. I am tired of reading of members who's medical treatment plans prescibed by their doctors are being rejected by insurance companies clerks.

I am tired of hearing about members who are disabled with crippling PA and are being denied disability insurance.

I am tired of members who must reject treatment option because they can not afford the high cost of perscription drugs.

I am tired that psoriasis and psoriatic artritis research are not getting it's fair share of research dollars that will give hope to the over five million sufferers the relief from this desease they want and deserve.

I am tired of insurance companies, govermental agencies, and employers telling us to flake off!


IT IS TIME TO STAND UP FOR OURSELVES

These and other reasons I need to take a stand. In matters of concience there is a majority of one. In matters of political pressure there comes results from the collitive voices of many.

To my freinds Bella, Matt and PJ, I am so glad you are coming. NPF hasn't and shouldn't post a list of who is or isn't regestered to come but I am looking foward to meeting many of my fellow suffers.For those who can't be there for what ever reason dosen't mean you can't be involved. Write, Call, E-mail you senators and congress person. That is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY!

I will stop with the following words from:

My letter is written, thanks for motivating me!!

I wish I was going. Couldn't arrange my work schedule to accomodate. However, I did write to my state Rep and both Senators. I urged them to support, participate and respond to me with their opinions. Thanks to all of you who are going. We have to be heard!!!!!!

...................(I'm a county election official) I gave the Honorable's staff assistant all pertinent information including Web addy. She is back and forth between here and DC. I gave her very little wiggle room though, I know 2 staffers in the county office and told her to say hello to them. Eh, politicians = snakes = agents of satan.LOL!
