Kids Walk to Cure Psoriasis
Do you want to help find a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis?
The Kids Walk to Cure Psoriasis is a new program that helps you and a parent or teacher educate your classmates about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. It also helps you raise money for your school and for psoriasis research. It's a fun way to teach the importance of respecting others, valuing differences and being a friend. You can earn cool prizes, too!
Here's how the program works:
- You and your mom or dad tell the Foundation you want to help find a cure
- We'll send you everything you need to teach your classmates, help them fundraise, and organize a Walk around your school grounds
- You and your parents work with your teacher or principal to schedule a time for you to teach your school about psoriasis
- You give the presentation—with lots of help, don't worry!
- Your classmates take materials home and ask their friends and families to help you find a cure for psoriasis
- Two weeks later your classmates bring their donations back to school and you lead a Walk around your school to celebrate and raise awareness
- We send your school a check for 10% of all the money raised!
- You earn cool prizes based on how much money you raised!
