Kids with psoriasis

Have you been told you have psoriasis? This section of the National Psoriasis Foundation Web site can help you learn more about psoriasis.

Psoriasis is a disease that can make your skin red, dry and crusty – especially on your elbows, knees and on your scalp. Psoriasis usually runs in families, it might have been passed on to you just like the color of your hair or the shape of your nose!

You may have questions about what this means and why you have psoriasis but your friends don’t. Your parents will be able to help you understand more about psoriasis. They can also help you learn how to explain it to friends. More than likely you have a question about psoriasis. Most people do. We are happy to give you answers to your questions.
