Chief Residents' Meeting

Dear resident,

On behalf of the National Psoriasis Foundation and the American Academy of Dermatology, we are pleased to invite you to attend the 9th Annual National Psoriasis Foundation Chief Residents' Meeting, Nov. 17-18, 2007 in Chicago, Ill. This meeting provides training for managing psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis patients.

The National Psoriasis Foundation Chief Residents' Meeting was developed to provide specific education for dermatology programs in the area of psoriasis. Psoriasis treatment is an art that requires familiarity with many different treatment regimens. Treating this disease has become even more complicated and exciting with the new treatment options that are now available. The educational program will include topical and systemic therapies, phototherapy, biologics, an overview of psoriatic arthritis and case reports.

As co-chairs, we have brought together a distinguished faculty of dermatology leaders to update you on the newest advances and various ways of utilizing standard treatment options to maximize effectiveness. In addition to ourselves, our faculty includes: Ken Gordon, M.D., Gerald Krueger, M.D., Craig Leonardi, M.D., Mark Lebwohl, M.D., Eric Ruderman, M.D., Elaine Siegfried, M.D., and Bruce Strober, M.D., Ph.D.

In conjunction with attending lectures, we will provide you with opportunities to interact with the faculty and your peers during breakout sessions and a networking dinner.

Should you choose to attend this informative program, you will be provided with hotel accommodations for a two-night stay (Friday and Saturday), round-trip coach class airfare, ground transportation to and from the airport, and all group meals. Full attendance at all program functions is expected. We are confident that you will leave this program with a new and deeper understanding of the art of psoriasis treatment and how the Psoriasis Foundation can help you with your psoriasis patients.

Please note our program is limited to 100 residents. Applications will be accepted in the order they are received.

We hope that you will join us at the 9th Annual National Psoriasis Foundation Chief Residents' Meeting in November in Chicago. Click here to download the registration form in PDF format.
