If you've got a great tip for treating psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis that you want to share, send it to education@psoriasis.org. We want to hear from you!
Give aspartame the cold shoulder
I have been clear of psoriasis for a few years, but just this morning I noticed psoriasis all over my legs.
I recently joined a weight loss program and I have been using their 'high nutrition supplements,' i.e., shakes, puddings, smoothies, etc. I checked and found that they all contain aspartame. When I cut aspartame from my diet, I cleared up again.
Now I am positive that aspartame has something to do with my having
psoriasis—whether it is an allergy or whatever. You should try avoiding it for a while and see what happens.
