It Works for Me

Sometimes, one of the best resources for information about psoriasis treatments is another person with psoriasis.

It Works for Me is the only resource of its kind. It includes hundreds of helpful tips and treatment reports from people who've tried just about everything to manage their psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis.

If you've got a great tip for treating psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis that you want to share, send it to education@psoriasis.org. We want to hear from you!

Exercise

I have had psoriasis for about 30 years. Like most other people I have experienced fluctuations in its intensity over the years.

Three months ago I joined a gym to lose some weight. Although my weight loss has been modest (about 12 pounds) I have noticed a marked improvement in most of the areas of my body where my psoriasis was most visible (scalp, elbows).

As my daughter is so fond of saying, "who knew!" So my advice is get out there and exercise that body of yours.
