World Psoriasis Day 2004

The National Psoriasis Foundation worked with other psoriasis associations from around the world to establish Oct. 29 as World Psoriasis Day, an event officially recognized by the World Health Organization. Psoriasis Foundation representatives participated in a press conference held in Prague, Czechoslovakia on Oct. 27 to announce the event. Psoriasis associations in Europe conducted various activities to participate in this special day. This annual event will be a great opportunity to draw world attention to psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The European biotechnology company Serono, S.A. supports World Psoriasis Day.
