Parents and Youth

Yours is a child first and a child with psoriasis second.

Although psoriasis is most frequently diagnosed between the ages of 15 and 25, it can appear at any time and affects children of all ages, including infants.

In addition to the physical impact of the disease, psoriasis can affect children socially and emotionally as well. If you're a parent of a child with psoriasis, learn all you can about the disease and how to manage its symptoms. Work together with your child to develop a treatment plan that he or she can follow. Then, once you're ready, get involved and help us find a cure for psoriasis.
