Foundation Web site garners Gold Triangle Award

From July/August 2006 Psoriasis Advance
The National Psoriasis Foundation Web site
(www.psoriasis.org) has received a Gold Triangle
Award from the American Academy of Dermatology
(AAD), the nation's leading dermatologic organization.
The annual Gold Triangle Award recognizes
excellence in promoting dermatology awareness
and encouraging healthy behavior in the care
of skin, hair and nails.
This award recognizes the Psoriasis
Foundation's May 2005 Web site
redesign. The redesign added lively
graphics and interactive features that
draw visitors to the Web site and keep them coming
back. The site also includes a powerful online
advocacy tool, allowing visitors to instantly take
action on critical legislative and insurance issues
that impact the psoriasis community.
The Psoriasis Foundation Web site is one of the
most comprehensive resources on psoriasis in
the world. It provides nearly 1 million visitors
annually with information about psoriasis and
psoriatic arthritis, treatment options, research news, and opportunities for connection and support.
The Psoriasis Foundation will receive the
award at AAD's July meeting in San
Diego. The Psoriasis Foundation Web
site also garnered a Gold Triangle in
2000. This is the 13th Gold Triangle Award for the National Psoriasis Foundation, including an award for the Psoriasis Advance in July
2005 and several awards for the National Psoriasis
Foundation® National Conference.
