Psoriasis Resource

The Psoriasis Resource was published three times per year from 1999 to 2002. Its goal was to help people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis make educated decisions about medications, therapies and products available for treating their skin and joints.

It featured new and unique products, overviews on alternative therapies, valuable skin-care advice and consumer guidance.

Psoriasis Resource also accepted advertisements for treatments and products aimed at people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. The National Psoriasis Foundation does not endorse these products, but the ads can be very helpful in informing people about other potential treatment alternatives.

Articles included:

  • Traveling tips for those with psoriasis
  • Evaluating psoriasis products
  • Treatment regimens for the scalp
  • What you need to know about participating in clinical trials
  • Overview of occlusion therapy
  • Dietary supplements for depression
  • Nail psoriasis
Other regular Psoriasis Resource features included:
  • The In Box: A sampling of phone calls and correspondence to the National Psoriasis Foundation.
  • What's New: An overview of new or unique psoriasis products on the market.
  • Check This Out: Suggestions of several interesting Web sites for readers to visit. Some are related directly to psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, while others are more general in nature.
