Psychological Intervention Study Enrolling
Providing Support to People with Psoriasis
The Health-Related Thoughts and Social Experiences (HEARTS) Study is testing the effects of a group psychological intervention, and of peer support, to help individuals cope with social aspects of health conditions, improve how they think and feel about themselves, and improve their quality of life. All study activities are completed online.
Participants may:
- Attend virtual group meetings led by trained clinicians for 3 to 6 months
- Receive up to $100 for completing study questionnaires
You may be eligible to participate in this research study if you:
- Are 18+
- Have one or more of the following:
Psoriasis and/or another skin condition
Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
Chronic pain
HIV
Cancer (current or in remission)
Obesity, or a high body weight that negatively affects your health
