I as a dermatologist want my patients to achieve long term remission and to avoid complications related to psoriasis like psoriatic arthritis or cardiovascular disease. I want them to have a proper knowledge about the autoimmune nature of the disease, as it can be controlled but there is cure. I want to reduce the stigma associated with disease, because in a country like India, people do have prejudice against the patients, because of lack of proper education about it. So many a times, psoriasis patients are mentally stressed because they think that they have cancer or any other severe skin disorders. I would like to educate them as well as provide treatment so that they lead a healthy and happy life.
