Seven Psoriasis Topicals Receive the National Psoriasis Foundation Seal of Recognition

Portland, Ore. (January 3, 2018)—The National Psoriasis Foundation (NPF) is proud to announce that seven over-the-counter psoriasis topical products have received the NPF Seal of Recognition. Independently tested and then reviewed by a panel of dermatology medical experts and people living with psoriasis, the NPF Seal of Recognition acknowledges tested and trusted products that help manage psoriasis symptoms. The latest products to receive the Seal of Recognition include:

Gold Bond: Multi-Symptom Psoriasis Relief Cream. Formulated to help skin feel soothed and hydrated, this psoriasis cream offers relief with maximum strength three percent salicylic acid to fight and control recurrence of psoriasis symptoms.

PSORENT® Psoriasis Topical Solution. For mild-to-moderate psoriasis, this solution offers relief all over the body and scalp. Manufacturers interested in submitting their products for the NPF Seal of Recognition must go through an application, evaluation and approval process, which includes submitting scientific data demonstrating the product sufficiently and safely aids in the management of psoriasis symptoms. A panel of dermatology medical experts evaluates all submissions and must come to a unanimous agreement to approve.
