Participate in the Medicare Drug Price Negotiation Process

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) wants to hear from patients like you about your experiences with high-cost prescription drugs to negotiate lower prices for people on Medicare. There will be two opportunities to provide your perspective and experience with psoriatic disease and/or using the selected prescription drugs.

NPF is seeking volunteers interested in participating in one or both of these patient feedback opportunities.

Submission of written comments.

For the written comments, NPF plans to submit one letter that incorporates NPF data on psoriatic disease and a summary of patient stories. To contribute to this effort, we'll be asking volunteers to provide their answers to a specific set of questions either by phone/video or in writing (choose the format that works for you).

Participation in patient engagement roundtables.

For the patient roundtables, volunteers selected to participate will be expected to attend a virtual meeting with other patients who use the medication, staff from CMS, and a professional moderator. Patients will share a 2-3 minute statement describing their diagnosis, treatment journey, access barriers, and impact of treatment on quality of life. NPF will host a few meetings in advance to help you prepare your statements and get ready to participate.

Fill out the form below if you are interested in participating.

We will provide additional information on what participation will look like in the next few weeks. Completing the form is not binding, and you won't be required to participate if you change your mind in the future.
