Orencia

Orencia is a biologic that was approved in 2017 for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis. 

What is Orencia

Orencia (also known by its generic name abatacept) was approved by the FDA in July 2017 for the treatment of adults with active psoriatic arthritis. It is also approved to treat rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis.

Orencia may be given as an intravenous infusion in your doctor's office or as a self-administered injection under the skin. Please speak with your health care provider about the best way for you to receive Orencia.
