Abby Van Voorhees

Abby Van Voorhees, M.D., was elected to the board of directors in 2014. She currently serves as chair of the medical board and is a frequent speaker at NPF events – both to patients and to medical audiences. She has been active in clinical research issues in dermatology, particularly those related to the treatment of psoriasis. Van Voorhees has served as medical editor for the American Academy of Dermatology's Dermatology World, and is the past chair of their guidelines of care committee. She is the chair of dermatology at Eastern Virginia Medical School and lives in Norfolk, Virginia.
