Katherine Southwick

Vice President of Marketing & Communications

Katherine Southwick is responsible for the development and execution of marketing and communications strategy – including campaign development, channel strategy, and oversight of NPF’s editorial products. She has more than ten years of progressive experience in marketing and communications, focused specifically in the non-profit sector. Prior to joining NPF, Southwick worked for the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where she managed marketing and communications for renowned children’s health advocate, Philip J. Landrigan, M.D., and his various research, education, and advocacy enterprises.

Southwick has a bachelor of arts with high distinction from the University of Virginia. She is based in Portland, Oregon. Outside of work, she loves traveling, dining out, spending time with friends, and hiking in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
