We can prevent psoriasis -- with your help

NPF is the center of the psoriatic disease community. Together, we work toward one common goal: to find a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

But we can’t do it alone. It takes a community of people – from the people who walk, run, cycle and attend Pstamp Out events for Team NPF to the researchers in their labs to the volunteers who speak for us in the halls of power – to fund and discover the breakthroughs that will lead us closer to a cure.

That’s why we’re so excited about Giving Tuesday on Dec. 3. Giving Tuesday is no gimmick. It’s not just the day that follows Cyber Monday. It’s a day dedicated not to shopping but to giving – when charities, families, businesses and communities all come together to celebrate and support nonprofits.

This is your chance to help support the National Psoriasis Foundation and programs like our latest initiative, the Psoriasis Prevention Initiative, a multi-institution, multi-disciplinary, team-based research network that aims to identify an intervention that will prevent the onset of psoriasis.

And, thanks to the generosity of two families – the Whites and the Laubs – every gift made to NPF starting on Giving Tuesday and ending Dec. 31 will be doubled, in support of this great initiative.

Mike and Carol Laub have made this matching challenge because psoriatic disease has had a large impact in their household. “Carol and I are investing in the Psoriasis Prevention Initiative because psoriasis has affected our family for decades,” says Mike. “If we can find a way to prevent the onset of psoriasis, it will change the lives of millions of people and their families.”

Your generous gift can go a long way to help change lives.

Join us for Giving Tuesday

Thank you for being a part of our community and helping us in our mission to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected. On Tuesday, Dec. 3 we invite you to do something that will help us re-write the future for others with psoriatic disease. Make a gift to support the Psoriasis Prevention Initiative.

Driving discovery, creating community

For more than 50 years, we’ve been driving efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected. But there’s still plenty to do! Learn how you can help our advocacy team shape the laws and policies that affect people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis – in your state and across the country. Help us raise funds to support research by joining Team NPF, where you can walk, run, cycle, play bingo or create your own fundraising event. If you or someone you love needs free, personalized support for living a healthier life with psoriatic disease, contact our Patient Navigation Center. And keep the National Psoriasis Foundation going strong by making a donation today. Together, we will find a cure.
