Purpose
Milestones to a Cure challenges researchers to think boldly and creatively about what will need to be known — mechanistically, clinically, and translationally — to eventually declare psoriatic disease cured. By supporting especially innovative, high impact approaches, Milestones to a Cure aims to highlight critical research questions and accelerate progress toward the discoveries that will enable a cure for psoriatic disease.
Areas of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Novel approaches to achieving complete remission and preventing relapse
- Mechanisms of immune memory and durable remission
- Identification of markers of ongoing disease activity
- Understanding the relationship between psoriatic disease and associated comorbidities
- Personalized approaches to disease control and restoration of immune homeostasis
