Together for a cure. Together to end psoriatic disease.

NPF is the center of the psoriatic disease community. Together, we work toward one common goal: to find a cure for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

But we can’t do it alone. It takes a community of people – from the people who walk, run, cycle and play bingo for Team NPF to the scientists in their labs to the volunteers who speak for us in the halls of power – to fund and discover the breakthroughs that will end psoriatic disease.

That’s why we’re so excited about #GivingTuesday on Nov. 27. #GivingTuesday is no gimmick. It’s not just the day that follows Cyber Monday, Stormy Monday, Manic Monday and Blue Monday. It’s a day dedicated not to shopping but to giving – when charities, families, businesses and communities all come together to celebrate and support nonprofits.

This is your chance to help support the National Psoriasis Foundation and programs like our latest initiative, the PsA Diagnosis Project

Why do so many people go so long before getting a diagnosis of psoriatic arthritis? How can we expect health care providers to provide a diagnosis when they’re missing the most important tool – a test for PsA? If we’re ever going to find a cure for PsA, the first step has got to be the creation of a diagnostic test. Your dollars can help make that test a reality.

Charitable giving – with an extra punch

This #GivingTuesday, Facebook is partnering with PayPal to match up to $7 million in gifts made to eligible nonprofits.

Here are a few ways you can support NPF on #GivingTuesday:
  • Create your own Facebook fundraiser for NPF.
  • Share this blog post to help spread the word about #GivingTuesday.
  • Head to the NPF Facebook page beginning at 8 a.m. Eastern/5 a.m. Pacific on Nov. 27 to make your gift.
Thank you for being a part of our community and helping us in our mission to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected. On Tuesday, Nov. 27, we invite you to do something more than line up an extra tax deduction. We invite you to make a difference. Please help us out on #GivingTuesday.

Driving discovery, creating community

For more than 50 years, we’ve been driving efforts to cure psoriatic disease and improve the lives of those affected. But there’s still plenty to do! Learn how you can help our advocacy team shape the laws and policies that affect people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis – in your state and across the country. Help us raise funds to support research by joining Team NPF, where you can walk, run, cycle, play bingo or create your own fundraising event. If you or someone you love needs free, personalized support for living a healthier life with psoriatic disease, contact our Patient Navigation Center. And keep the National Psoriasis Foundation going strong by making a donation today. Together, we will find a cure.
