Hill Day at Home

Schedule a Hill Day at Home meeting to tell your members of Congress and their staff what it's like living with psoriasis and/or psoriatic arthritis and why the need for a cure is so important. The stories and voices of people with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis are the most powerful tools we have to help lawmakers understand the daily challenges of our community.

Just follow these simple steps:

STEP 1: Locate your member of Congress

Get their address and phone number by entering your zip code »

STEP 2: Schedule a meeting

Use this letter to schedule a meeting with your senator or representative. It may take a couple of attempts to secure the meeting but know that members of Congress need and want to meet with their constituents.

STEP 3: Get prepared

Explore the online Advocacy Toolkit and "unpack" resources to help you find your voice and share your story about psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis with your members of Congress.

STEP 4: Attend the meeting

It's always a good idea to bring materials to the meeting that you can leave behind, including your contact information. Here are documents that you can print out give to staff at the conclusion of the meeting. And don't forget to bring a camera for a picture!

STEP 5: Send a thank you letter

Be sure to send a thank-you note to the member of Congress and the staffers that you met with. You can use this letter template to get started.

STEP 6: Tell us about the meeting

Please take a minute to let us know how the meeting went »
