Welcome to Week 3 of Psoriasis Awareness Month
If you or someone you love has psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, you know how hard it can be to access affordable health care and treatments. The National Psoriasis Foundation wants to make a difference in the lives of people with psoriatic disease, and you can too.
This week, we challenge you to GET INVOLVED.
Think of NPF as an advocate for your health. We are in the state and federal political trenches working to shape the laws and policies that affect people with psoriatic disease. We organize fundraising events to raise money for the research grants we award to scientists working hard to find you a cure. The best way to help us, is to become an NPF volunteer.
Are you ready to become a Psoriatic Psuperhero? Great! Your first mission is to complete this next challenge.
Take a photo with the downloadable and printable Psoriatic Psuperhero selfie-sign and include a comment about one way you got involved to help those living with psoriatic disease. Post the photo and comment on Facebook or Instagram, and tag the National Psoriasis Foundation and include the hashtag #psoriaticpsuperhero in the post.
We will pick 75 of the best photos/comments to receive a Psoriatic Psuperhero t-shirt. All photos and comments must be posted by 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on Monday, September 12, 2016.
*Ways to get involved include, but are not limited to, the following activites:
- Sign up to become a National Psoriasis Foundation volunteer
- Become a National Psoriasis Foundation Community Ambassador
- Sign up to participate in a Team NPF event
- Register to host a Team NPF DIY event
- Register to attend a Be Joint Smart or More Than Skin Deep event or webcast
