Welcome to Week 4 of Psoriasis Awareness Month
Living with psoriatic disease isn’t easy, but you’re not alone. There are more than 7.5 million people in the U.S. who know exactly what you’re going through and can offer advice and support. Let us introduce you!
This week, we challenge you to GET CONNECTED.
It starts by connecting with your doctor and beginning a treatment plan that works for you. Then connect with NPF through Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to engage with your new community of advocates. We can also match you with a mentor through our Psoriasis One to One program. Join TalkPsoriasis, the world’s largest virtual support community for people living with psoriatic disease with more than 82,000 international members. Participate in Citizen Pscientist our interactive research community for connecting with researchers, sharing your data, getting input from others with psoriatic disease and helping drive the direction of research.
Now that you’ve learned multiple ways to connect with the psoriatic disease community, it’s time to get started on your next challenge.
Participate in Citizen Pscientist! Let the National Psoriasis Foundation know by tagging us on Facebook in a post saying that you participated in Citizen Pscientist and include one question you would like to ask world-renowned psoriatic disease scientist Dr. Wilson Liao.
We will pick the best question, and the one winner will receive an hour-long conversation (either by phone or via Skype) with Dr. Wilson Liao. Posts must be made by 5:00 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on Monday, September 19, 2016.
