NPF is the largest nonprofit funder of research in psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, and related comorbidities.

Guided by the 2025-2029 Strategic Plan, NPF has reaffirmed its commitment to lead collaborative, transformational research through two goals of equal importance:

$37M invested in research has catalyzed over 600 publications and $44M in subsequent funding in psoriatic disease research.

Global Reach

The reach of the NPF Funding Portfolio spans 268 unique investigators and 117 unique institutions globally.

Leading the Conversation

37 NPF-led poster presentations at national or international conferences. 50% were selected for oral presentations and 25% were converted to published manuscripts.

NPF Funding

Beginning in 1987, NPF has funded collaborative, translational research globally. Each year, NPF awards grants and fellowships that fund work focused on the treatment, prevention, and cure of psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis (PsA), and comorbidities.

NPF-Led Research

In addition to supporting research through funding opportunities, NPF conducts internal research in collaboration with the NPF Scientific Advisory Committee and Medical Board, as well as research through partnerships with other institutions. The research findings and data from these projects are often published in scientific journals or presented as research posters at scientific meetings.
