Approximately 50 percent of patients with psoriasis have some nail involvement. Nail psoriasis can be difficult to treat and has a significant effect on quality of life. Our free Nail Psoriasis Webinar seeks to educate patients and caregivers about the most up-to-date information on symptoms, treatment options and research.
By the end of this program, participants will:
- Recognize the most common presentations of nail psoriasis, including: pitting, discoloration, crumbling, loosening, thickening or horizontal lines
- Describe the correlation between nail psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis and other related conditions
- Understand medical treatment options
- Effectively work with their health care provider to develop a plan for treating and managing their psoriatic nail disease
